About PDF extraction
Only the selectable text layer is extracted — diagrams, graphs, and embedded images are skipped intentionally. This keeps extraction fast regardless of paper size. If a question refers to a figure (e.g. "Figure 2 shows a circuit — identify components A, B, C"), it will be moderated correctly as long as the question text itself is typed in the PDF. Scanned image-only papers should be uploaded as typed PDFs or pasted as text.
